Avner over at Grid.org.il has just passed along news a major cloud computing event happening in Israel being held as part of the IGT Annual event. This year IGT2008 will focus on Cloud Computing. (Sadly, I won't be there, I have a baby due in December, Brenny probably wouldn't be too keen on me missing that)
The 2 days event will focus on the new cloud economy and the cloud technologies that will impact the enterprise data center, SMBs, and ISVs, via IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services.
We expect to have 500+ people, mostly from the Industry (CIOs, CTOs, Architects, etc.), but also from academia. Among the corporate presenters: Google, Amazon EC2, eBay, Yahoo!, SalesForce, Forrester, NYSE CIO, HP, IBM, SUN, BMC Software, Merrill Lynch, GigaSpaces, Mellanox and many more.
Also, IGT2008 is producing an International Cloud computing directory to map the cloud based solutions to be published at the event and on the WEB.
The directory is open for all companies.
